Hmm, well Ravi , I don’ t know whether you’ ve seen it already, but there is a decent lecture notes on String theory and General Relativity which is available from ‘t Hooft’s site. I guess the lecture notes on string theory in particular could have helped you prepare your particle physics presentation.
